    Bosun's whistle or boatswain's call: sterling silver, has a small 5" air tube (gun) that leads to a 3/4" diameter hollow ball (buoy) with a hole in the bottom. Used in the U.S. Navy to give commands or ceremonial honors.

    Toolbox: Long, shallow metal tool case for the Manitowoc-built submarine USS POMPON; hinged, clasped lid and metal handles on each end; stenciled on side is "USS POMPON SS-267, FOR SHIP"; written in marker on top of case is "Box No. 3048 Gov't Furnishings"; stenciled in top left corner of case (barely legible) is "(?) - Large Wedge Pullers, (?) - Small Wedge Pullers"; illegible stenciling in top right corner; case is empty.

Ship's name and "Pere Marquette Ry" painted in white lettering. Hollow interior, metal carferry gate and tracks.Built by Captain Charles Robertson while captain of SAGINAW from 1931-1938. Done on the ship.
