Decommissioning party for submarine USS RASHER on January 11, 1946. Lt. Cdr. Charles D. Nace is cutting a cake in the center of a table filled with food surrounded by the crew and their girlfriends and wives. Donor Richard L. Moore (Et3c) is in the back row of photograph, fifth from left. Photo shows the last of the "Moth Ball Crew". As each crew member finished his work, he was transferred or discharged. |
