Description |
Blue glass bottle, round with narrow neck at top. Pressed glass imprinted on both sides. One side reads "Manitowoc Maritime Museum, Manitowoc, Wis." with an image of a submarine at center. Opposite side reads "Longest Ship Built on the Great Lakes, Length 1000 feet, Stewart J. Cort, Christened May 4, 1971" with an image of the STEWART J. CORT at center. A paper sticker is adhered to the side of the bottle that identifies the maker. These bottles were sold as a fundraiser for the Museum. This bottle was part of the first set, issued in 1972. |
